totally going to try this does any one know how to actually hook these up to the turn signals, like which wire to tap

I know I'm thread reviving. Candersonusa, so the only thing holding your LED strip in place in the fender is duct tape? Can you take a close up picture of the vents during daylight? How are these holding up?

he said he drilled holes for zip ties which attached to the clips on the strakes soooo..... yeah

I guess I don't understand what that means. I have fender strakes and they have screws to hold them to the fender grill, not clips?

The metal bracket the screw goes into on the backside of the vent is the "clip" he put zip ties through that tiny hole.

I am of course assuming, but that seems like the logical sense of what he meant.

Personally I just put zip ties through the vent attached right under my strakes.. you can't see them unless you get down real low and look closely under the strake.. I'll get some pictures one of these days since I need to take the vent and light fixture out for some maintainance anyway.

I'm really considering buying some amber LEDs to hook this up to my blinkers. Need to wait on warmer weather so I can do this and paint my calipers at the same time.
