Like I said, sideskirt mold is complete and the front bumper...

well, the front bumper is sitting in my room. lol. Shine has been very busy lately as have I so we haven't had a chance to meet up or get a mold of the bumper made. Honestly it should be VERY soon though. I'll keep you guys updated so you aren't in the dark about this

Oh? I thought the mold was already made and yours was the first run off of it. Oh well, do what you need to do and thanks for updating.

Oh, quick question:

I am currently trying to sport a CF bottom look (front lip, sideskirts, rear lip/whatever)

Do you know if the Seibon front lips fit under the Feed front bumper? I'm guessing yes, but that bumper is pretty low to the ground.

Seibon front lip being the universal splitter or their rx8 lip (which is merely an AutoExe replica)?

AE style lip won't fit underneath. If you want that side style you can try throwing the Origin splitter/canard pieces and it might look good http://shop.tougefactory.com/origin_.../i-223884.aspx

Bumpdate, Shine is finally getting this bumper in 7 days to make copies! lol. Hey, some information is bette than none, right?

I heard that the front crash bar needs to be removed for this bumper?
is there any chance that the bumper can be trimmed so the crash bar can remain in place?

When we were first fitting the bumper we had the same debate. I believe the final conclusion is that the bumper will come with a template so if the buyer so chooses, the shop can simply make a cut and leave the bumper in. I'm going to wait for the final product to come out before making any 100% assertions but it is something that is being taken into consideration.

I know its pointless and stupid to express on an online website...but humor me.

This is taking a long time. Really soon now, really soon now, really soon...another three years?

Ok. I'm done. I know you guys, especially Tilt (who himself seems very patient), are busy enough with your own lives.

Bump(er?)

I'm only patient because the longer it is, the longer I can put off having to actually worry about screwing up a new front bumper

I'll give ken a call in a couple weeks and push them to get this done for you guys. Really really really soon.

Fine. But only because you italicized the second 'really'.

Any pics maybe?

Well,

I'm going back to stock GT package exterior...

Honestly, I know it it reads like I'm all angry and in a pissy counter productively impatient mood. That's fine if you read this out of context (read, out of my personal life), but, truly, I've had my car for three years, and this thread was started at that time.

I will most definitely watch the progress on this project, but I can't wait for heaven much longer.

I'm coming from buying a used 04 car with no panel fasteners (which ulitmatedley led to my front bumper falling apart) and having driven without the under panel, oil cooler screens, or fender wells, with only the top four bolts holding my bumper to my car, for 2 years now.

I'm not hating, just wanna say that unfortuneately I won't be investing in this replica.

I'm sorry.

Teaser cell phone pic from my painter This is the very first set Shine produced. I had these for months but just now getting around to getting them worked on. I should be able to pick the car up today and if weather permits take some better quality pics.
