My whole point is availibility. The leg lip may be readily availible in japan but not here in the states. So my whole point is its easier to wreck the 8 and replace it by doing to a local mazda dealership than replacing that leg lip since its the only one in the U.S. according to pdxhak.

I guess I'm really not that smart?

A few years ago at the fathers day champ car races at Portland International Raceway, I got a quick trip around the track. My brother worked for Firestone and since Bridgestone is a major sponsor we were up there getting the royal treatment. It was awesome. They had a program called fast lap. A trip around the track in a pace car with a pretty girl from a less competitive series. Not bad, my dad my brother and I were talking to the firestone rep while we were waiting, BS-ing, talking about what kinda cars and bikes we had owned. He decides to pull a few strings and gets us in a supercharged Mustinag Cobra with one of their sponsored F-1 drivers. I kid you not, one free lap around PIR with Mario Andretti at the wheel. That was insanely intense. I will never forget it as long as I live.

That isn't too bad my Burnout lip has alot more hits on it than that. I just call them battle scars since they all happened on the ring.

some people's children, eh?

I've always wondered why people who are that negative spew their BS all over decent folks they don't know... Trolling your friends for lulz is one thing, but being rude to strangers is just weird.

on topic- so what have we learned about mid-corner lift throttle, class?

I used to sling an autox prepped Miata around a local track, and one day a friend with a 3000GT VR-4 offered me the wheel for a few hotlaps since he had no idea how to drive it properly and wanted to see what it would do. Let's just say that my right foot was still in the low-power, balanced-chassis Miata mode when I came up on a decreasing radius corner after the long straight... Thankfully there was a lot of grass run out and all I owed my buddy was a good detailing.

everything is right about this picture^ except for those egg yolks that the turn signal bulbs are in your headlight assemblies. Get some chrome covered amber turn signal bulbs from RotaryFX.com, change out the 194s in your clear side markers to with chrome covered ambers as well if you havent.

Thanks for the input. Right now I have more important upgrades and repairs that I'm concerned about than light bulbs FWIW thanks to Aipex8, I have LEDs in the driving lights and clear corners. LED wise, the fogs and rear tail lights will be updated before anything else.
