Efini did alot of devolpment for the RX-7, and the badge looks good on a 7 with Efini parts... but on an 8 it would probably just look lame since they are not doing any work on the RX-8.

The emblem looks great, but theres alot of meaning behind a badge. I think the Mugen Emblem looks good too, but if anyone were to ever put that on my Mazda... I'd be pretty pissed.

EDIT: ok i just noticed that StealthFox essentially wrote the same thing, but in more words. I should probably read up on the older posts before repeating someone else, my bad.

Personally i think this badge looks killer ..... BUT.......... it DOESNT belong on an 8.... its just like putting a Type R badge on a RSX........

In the other threads there was a consensus that rice is written all over efini badges on 8s...

but hey ... whatever floats your boat
So this is a looooooong old dead post, but i came across it and decided to throw in my 2 cents... as far as i am aware, the "Efini" portion of mazda was a more performance orientated division, THATS why it got applied to the RX series... just thought maybe that might be something worth knowing...

where do i buy this emblem

where do i buy this emblem

Long story short, the post died.
Since then, I've had the desire to change my front and rear "Flying M" emblem to
give my 8 another unique feature.

Well, I think I've found an emblem that might work ~ It's even rotary shaped!
What do you think?

3D print it
It wasn't even a thing in 2006 but nowadays you have a high-resolution resin print for a steering wheel or PLA/PETG for the exterior.
I did a carbon fiber base one recently also made a silicone/resilite mold.
