Decided to go with Body Kit, which one?

Well, after a lot of thinking, I've decided to go ahead with getting a body kit for my 8. For a while, I was really debating and pricing out all of the turbo options, but I believe that if I wait a couple more years, the aftermarket for the 8's performance will be a lot greater than it is now.

So, body kits, how much, which one, mix and match? etc?

Right now I have the stock spoiler, I will probably keep that for now, but I'm looking at front bumper, skirts and rear. I live in San Jose, California, so not very many bumps, but I am afraid of scrapping. I have Tein S-Tech Springs so car is lowered a little. Will be getting 19" wheels later down the road.

Love the Mazdaspeed kit as everyone else, but I'm open to other suggestions. I will be purchasing the MazdaSpeed mirrors soon too and when I get my body kit installed, I will probably debadge the emblems (rear) A total makeover for my 8.

I think you should get the one that you like the most not the other way around since it's your car & not somebody elses. I bought the MS urethane but I like the Re-Amemeya front , Veilside rear, MS side skirts.

Have you checked out the auto-bahn strasse kit? You need the auto-bahn exhaust for the rear, but the front and sides look incredible.

Also the vertex lang kit has some nice smooth lines to it.

pics of the autobahn can be found here D'mix with RX-8 HomePage

Since you're in San Jose, meet up with IZoomZoomI to see the Auto Bahn in person... definitely one of the better kits.

Auto Bahn is definitely too low for this area. iZZi (IZoomZoomI) had s techs and couldn't even clear driveways anymore, dealership couldn't even work with it. He has coilovers now so doubt it will be as bad, but as you still have stechs, that wouldn't work. I recommend the autoexe kit since nobody in our area has it yet, and its one of the nicer looking kits. I THINK I'm the only one in the area with the INGS kit, and I'd like to keep it that way! (=0) So check out that autoexe!

Yea, you're probaly safer going with the ms kit. I have the autobahn and its pretty low, I recommend the veilside kit seems like it would suit your stlye.

So far Zoom is the only guy in the US with the AutoBahn installed, 5+ Ings kit here in So Cal alone, 2 AutoExe in So Cal, bunch of MS kits and replicas, 2 R Magic, 2 Vertex Langs down here, 1 Carisma's, ...

Go with what you think suits your style... they are all going to end up costing you the same to install and paint in the end.
