Clear Bra and Window Tint

I have to take my 8 to the Dealership for the clear bra and window tint. I want to go a bit darker than "legal". The Dealership outsources the job to a company called "precision". I am guessing it is in Broomfield, Colorado. Has anyone had any experience with this. I am hoping that,
A. they will tint darker,
B. they will clear bra the headlights

Has anyone had experience with this? Is it negotiable? Just wanted to get an idea of what to expect. It sucks being a first time new car buyer.

the back windows can be tinted up to 5% which is limo tint, and isyour back windows as dark as u want.
as dark as u'll ever need it at least here in california.
so no worries about them tinting

the front windows... most people will tint it for u as long as you pay for it... don't know about where "precision", but the three places I've been have all tinted my front windows as dark as i wanted them to.

And when the State Trooper stops you and checks the tint (and they can do it on the spot with a meter designed for that purpose), you will have x number of days to have it corrected, at YOUR expense, or pay the fine. Kind of like not having a front license plate. (at least that's the way it is in Wisconsin)

Go legal!

As for the clear bra, did you TELL them to do the headlights - (and fog lights if you have them)? If you didn't explicitly tell them you want this, I doubt they will do it. When I had my VentureShield done, my installer had never done the lights before. After he did them, both he an I thought they looked great.

Zoom, Zoom!

beware of the type of tint you are getting. I used Huper optiks, but I suppose there are other brands out there that are of the same material. Why, because many of the tints that are low budget are metal based material with no uv protection and vertually no heat rejection, but since my installation of optiks 1-1/2 years ago, the heat rejection is wel above what I had expected during the hot summers,I even did the moon roof which helped tremendously. 35% tint is what I have all around, thats the darkest you can get it in but why go any darker?
also it doesn't eventually bubble up like the inferior brands due to the ceramic based make up of the material. Paid 275.00 for the instal but it could be higher now. Sorry, this is an older picture before modafications were done. research is key. remember , (ceramic based material) hope this helps.
