Chrome Door Handles + Advance keyless

So, I like the look of chrome door handles, and got some off eBay, BUT I have an 06 with the advance keyless, and I cant cover up the black button on the door handle or I wont be able to unlock the car. Anyone have any ideas or alternatives? My only idea is to drill a hole the size of the button and possibly put some piece of rubber to make a new button, though im not really confident about drilling into the chrome overlay, although if i screw it up, theyre just as useful to me as now.

Chrome door handles? That's a touchy subject here on the forum.

Sounds like drilling holes is about the only option.

touchy? why? I was thinkin the oem rims chrome look really nice, and i thought the handles would be a good accent for em.

I lot of people on this forum do not like chrome in any fashion whatsoever. So prepare to get flamed. Personally, I like chrome as evidenced by my signature below.

just drill through it. and then you can access the button through it. why mess with a rubber insert and all that?
