CF trunk and GT wings

copied from S2ki.com

Got this from Nasioc.com

Cyber EVO had a misfortune of rear wing detach from the car and took a big portion of CFRP trunk skin with it at World Super Lap this weekend, but it was fast enough to secured 1st place win at this event with new track record of 1:30.587 !

Guys with carbon trunk (CFRP) really need to find a different way to mount their wing on these weak, none enforced trunks, or just use OEM trunk, just a safe precaution on the track.

Damn! Yeah, I wouldn't feel comfortable mounting a decent size wing on my Seibon trunk.

Most wings like that shouldn't be mounted to the trunk lid. They should pass through the trunk and be mounted on the body.
