I got my rx8 about two weeks ago and i'm lookin to get a cf trunk..the only ones i've seen are made by Seibon, VIS, and Carbon Creations. Is any company seen as superior to the others? or does anyone know of any other maker?

Go and run a search on XDEEDUBBX. He has a CF trunk that fits perfectly.

i helped him do the install. it fits, but it does not fit perfectly. sits high on the sides. i'd say mastergrade has the best possible fit.

Do you atleast have a CF hood? Having just a CF trunk will look kinda funny and out of place.

if u do the trunk yoiu have to do the hood...my trunk does not fit perfectly... (i wish)...its a seibon trunk and my hood is vis

yea i'm lookin at gettin a VARIS carbon fiber hood but then again its a little pricy..so maybe i'll go for somethin a little cheaper

The cheaper you go the worse the quality and fitment get. Save up and get a Mastergrade trunk and a decent hood

i went to the mastergrade website but they only showed products for the 350z, G35, and s2000¿

That's because the Mastergrade trunk was only a group buy, I don't think they ever posted a RX-8 product on the site. Try contacting the member BG GREEN or something..

E_mail them. They just made some more new Mazda parts that will be on the site by next week. I know for a fact they have some trunks ready for the RX8.
