Ok people since everyone wants them and after countless vendors promising to do them and backing out, im initiating and is going to go ahead and work with Gemini Composites to get them made

I've worked with Gemini previously on my CF hood and you guys can check out my other thread to see the results. Bottomline is they make awesome products and has unbelieveable customer service They can also make them in normal CF or colored kevlar/CF if thats what floats your boat.

I've already ordered an extra set of the fender vents from my dealer and i will have them in my hands in 2-3 days which then i will bring to Gemini.

So which style do you guys actually want?

Style 1 (Mazdaspeed cover-on version)


Style 2 (Autobahn replacement version)


I will count the total of votes in 3 days and decide which style to produce.

And also a note to all... the mesh will come in silver OR it can be painted black upon request.

You guys can also start listing your names for ppl that are definately interested in this and is actually looking to purchase ( i know there isnt a price figure yet but this list is based on interest, and price wise it will be around what you guys are willing to pay so dont worry it wont be a jacked up price)

that way i will have all the names down so it'll be easier for me contact you guys when they are avaliable.

BIU... the fender strakes are not compatible with these vents I would assume? I like #2 though but I don't want to give up my strakes. Any chance of them making that front nose Acosta designed with the rotary intake port? I know you need a master to mold from but maybe they could fabricate it? Thanks

 

i am guessing the strakes would still work with these vents, dont the strakes just gets stuck on with tape? If so, then they can be taped over the CF vents i imagine....

As for the Acosta front nose... are you saying you want it in CF?

Well if theres enough demand for it they will make it... but like you said they would need one to mold from.

 

Well acosta offers it in CF for 1200 but I'd rather get it from gemini because of their customer service and awesome craftsmanship, plus they would make it in red kevlar if I asked. hmmm just thinking how I could have it made, I'm in NY so it's expensive to ship to Canada and it would cost me at least 700.00 just for the fiberglass mold, but then I could sell the fiberglass version of the nose after the mold was made, so I could get my money back. Dunno maybe I'll spring for the cost of it because I'm really looking to make this an all out "show car" so it would be worth it. Oh sorry about the babbling post just thinking out loud.

i would be in depending on price. #1 and #2 look like they have the same design to me, all i can see is the difference in color. or i may be BLIND!

 

i guess i just see the silver reflection from the mesh.

If they turn out looking like this and aren't the astronomical BS price Auto-Bahn is wanting i'm in...

but I want regular CF not some silver kevlar mesh integrated..i have a Sunlight Silver car...i want to be able to see the vents and the CF mesh...
