I've got evo-r also. I painted my cf eyelids yellow and It turned out really well. Not cheap though. I originally purchased the yellow eyelids for them and the color was wrong. They sent me a replacement pair and all is good now.

eyelids

I am new to the community and I was working on my RX8 and was also interested in purchasing eyelids but I tried to look for the store EVO-R online and couldn't find it, all I found was a store for STI's and Nismos. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

So how do you buy from Evo?
The site doesn't allow purchases.
Also,he used a couple of my pics of my RX-8 with the CF sills he sold me,from pics posted here, without asking,so I'd like to offer him the use of my pics,in trade for a set of CF eyelids for my 8.

I think that's fair,don't you?

Evo-R is great I concur. Their site works like this.. if the picture doesnt activate a link it means they dont have them in stock. Its as easy as that. Annoying sure since I wanted to buy the carbon fiber a/t shift cover but its easier than constantly removing and putting back up pictures of what you have in stock.

That and they are quick with delivery, sadly mine wasnt that quick but I believe they took my order and then realized they had none painted BBlack lol.. but its all good got then installed and I luv 'em! They just give the 8 a more aggressive look.

^^Thanks.. and I agree they need to produce atleast a small quantity of those shift covers.. I know a few of us here on the boards would eat them up.

One thing I noticed though.. is the drivers side eyelid is a 1/8 shorter than the passenger side hence you see that lil slither of headlight but only I notice so its all good hehe. That and I scratched that drivers side on monday when installing the racing beat screens when I took off the bumper just mad at myself for that thankfully its small and hardly noticable.

You would think they would just say in-stock or out of stock....

^Well they are a business and a small one atleast on the Rx-8 side of things I believe. Be pointless to make 200+ of a item and only 50 people buy them in total ever. That and since he works this way usualy means if enough people are interested we can ask him to make some more in limited quantities in a GB. Oh also since he does frequent the boards at times he takes suggestions from us, someone recently asked him to make some kinda side vents and enough people were interested so he is now going to make them. A big normal business wouldnt do that.

Now come on A/T people.. shift covers do we want 'em?!?!?! I do!!!! hehe
