Angry A CAT did all that!?!?

Hey folks,

I let my teenager drive my RX (big mistake!) Needless to say, my car returned to me with major damage to the front valance, fender wells, and all support assemblies. I have no Mazda dealer within 45 miles.

Any suggestions for reputable sources for replacement parts?

Thanks

did he say he hit a cat? If so, throw out the B.S. flag
damage to fenders and support assemblies? WTF did he hit?

why not file it through insurance? The cost will likely exceed your deductable

For used parts but good shape parts I just found these people www.partsgroup.com Only rx8 and miata parts.

They have EXTREMELY good prices and are very helpful. The website inventory might not have what you're looking for, just give them a call and ask.

Well, he stuck by his guns . . . said it was a big cat . . . guess like the one above.

Mazpart had an engine bottom shroud at a good price. That was cool. Still need to find the trim piece between the bumber and the shroud. (whatever it is called)

well speaking of teens doing stupid stuff...
i was dropping my friend off, i see a group of middle schoolers and two of them were pushing each other. so i started to look at my mirror to see if its a fight. all the sudden BAM! SCREECH!
yes I hit the fking curb... scratched the hell out of my rim. again... from the looks of it, it doesn't look bad , but i think its time to get new rims and pay more attention to where im going and not to some idiot kids... Y_Y
