i say carbon and paint it. i have the seibon tsII hood and i can't wait for it to be TiGray. personal opinion. carbon is cool but i don't like to show it off. don't understand spending the $$$ for a CF factory hood. the aluminum one weighs the same. get something vented. tsI or tsII. they look good in carbon and even better in body color.

I vote against the CF at this point for your car.
halimsteven's car looks good with the CF because he's addressed other Aero parts of his car and the carbon fiber is a nice touch.
on a stock looking RX8 (minus your Einkes), it would look too out of place. (no appearnace pkg, no aftermarket bumper, side skirts, etc)
just my $.02

note the MS body kit, wheels, and MS wing.
that's why it looks good. IMO

what he is saying is that if you want to have CF, make sure it flows from teh front to the rear. for ex: i fyou have CF, make sure you have the body kits follow it, otherwise, the CF will look lonely..IMO

not really a fan of carbon fiber as a styling device, if you put a hood on the car, make sure its vented, so it has at least some purpose. Personally even if i do get a vented cf hood i'd probably paint it body colored. alot of cheap cf hoods and trunks have really bad waves if you look at them under certain lights.
