what I am trying to say is that, this isn't some floppy sticker right? It is applied by adhesive yes, but it's some piece of hard plastic shell that goes over the regular B-pillar right? How does it withstand to weather and frequent car washes??

I have the Shika B-pillar applique. I like it because it does not show greasy finger prints on the pillar if you touch it.

I got my set from AZ express for 70 shipped.

it's not hard plastic at all. I don't know how to describe it. urethane like gel coat?... it's somewhat flexible, and you can treat it the same way you treat your cars paint.

AZ part express is on Ebay, just search for Rx8 Kit and they will come up. Not sure if they have any more.

See the pic below, its a piano black finish. Like a Gelcoat. PS: footman i have had mine for 2 years now with no prblems.

i love the bpillars i got on fleabay. they are thick and shiny and coverd the scratches that were in the dull black vinyl when i got my 8. well worth it i think.
