I ordered only the carbon fiber lip last week. Should arrive within 2 weeks (they are made after order is placed, not sure if they stock the fiberglass one).
Cost was $695 shipped (alittle better than going through rotary extreme or jt-imports, would have been $780.)
I was able to contact the ks-auto international sales rep. His name is Tak Matsunaga and email: takmail2@yahoo.co.jp Contact him for info/prices.
I also have the Mazdaspeed sides and rear on order through Rosenthal Mazda.

I'll post pictures when it arrives and also after the install.

Well the thing about shipping is you pay mostly for the BOX SIZE, NOT the contents.

So if you get a bumper, you can actually put 3 of the same bumper in the same box and the shipping price is the same.

Same with the KS-Auto kit, you have to pay the $300 if you just get the lip, but if you get the lip, the sides and the rear all at once, the shipping price is still $300, understand?

Got it. But in my case, I only need the lip.
If there is enough interest in this kit, maybe you can do a groupbuy for interested members and lower the total cost.

such a tough call. it looks OK on the silver, i feel it would look better in the flesh but the price of CF and FiberGlass is nearly half! I'd hate to paint over the CF

We'll be able to tell how it looks on a black 8 pretty soon. Received this email today.
UPS tracking info....Apr 7, 2004 6:26 A.M. TOKYO, JP ORIGIN SCAN
It'll probably get here in a week. Also, I'm not painting it no matter what it looks like. CF on black is probably the safest bet that it'll look good.
Also, I received my Mazdaspeed rear and sides. Installed the rear piece today and I will install the sides this weekend.

Here's some pictures of the rear install.

Adrian, any reason you decided not to go with the carbon side skirts instead of the MS ones. I kind of think it would look rather sharp to have the carbon lip and side skirts on the black car. Thinking about it for mine.

I liked the shape of the MS sides more. The ks-auto sides bulge out alittle while the MS sides are straight down. Also, I didn't want to put too much CF on my car, the lip is enough for me.

KS-auto 'Burnout' carbon fiber lip has arrived!!
Shipping was super fast. 3 days from Japan.
Note about the pictures. ****It is not installed yet, just test fitting it.**** Instructions say to drill on both sides to get it on.
Here's the pictures. I'll probably put it on tommorrow or by the weekend at the latest.

My first impressions of the CF lip are good. The CF weave looks good, although there are some imperfections in the pattern where it starts to bend but only on the bottom of the lip. It is very sturdy and will definitely need to be careful about not hitting parking curbs. It matches with the black pretty good. You won't be able to tell it's carbon fiber if your looking at it from a distance or if it's dark.
Pictures of the install will be posted soon.
