not a bad thread. unfortunately it lets me know i have to remove the rear bumper reinforcement. which is really too bad because that means the rear is going to get passed over. which is too bad, because i like complete kits. although i dont understand why, the rear looks identical except with a skirt at the bottom. i'll email them.
Bump

Did anything happen of the email? It does look nearly identical. I've actually become a huge fan of this kit, with a single exit exhaust the rear would be <3 to me. If for some reason the rear support doesn't need to be removed, those attending seven stock 11 should look for a white buddy club'd 8

My friend has authentic Buddy club kit on his RSX. We did DIY together. Easy as bolt-on.

im awaiting an estimate, how long it will take, etc etc. i have parking lot dings that are getting taken care of, and i need a new front and rear bumper cover so i figured this was a good time to go aftermarket. however, if its too expensive, well, its too expensive and i cant afford it. and thats that. lol. this is also my only car so time is an issue. i know if i was going OE my car would be back this friday.
If you really want it go for it,,, expensive is always good for kits, in most cases it insures quality,,, I've seen the authentic kit on a Civic and talked to the ower and he said the fitment was excellent. You usually end up saving in the long run by cutting out extra expenses in custom adjustments by your body shop....

I think the Buddy Club front, and the Buddy Club sideskirts or even the Knight Sports sideskirts would look good with whatever rear of your choice.

sexy with intercooler. :]

you will need to remove/modify the rear reinforcement bar to get this kit to fit.

i did not go ahead and do this as my car was in the shop for 3 weeks already and it would have taken another 6 to get this kit in from japan.

i was hoping buddy club usa might have had ONE rx8 kit in stock state-side. no luck and i needed my car. maybe next summer.
