bodykit work?

i have a ms replica made of urethane and the fit is perty good... i have heard people say u can take kits to body shops to make them fit better? i was wondring what exactly do bodyshops do to make them fit better? and NO i will not get the real thing becuz i already have this one and 1500 buks for a bumper is outrageous
(i already know someone will say that)

My autobahn had some gaps on the side. I had them fill it with body to seal them up to fit like oem then had it painted. That was $600 only because i knew the guy. Since you say your kit fits pretty good i don't think you will have a huge cost behind getting it painted and fitted but there are many people who has exceeded 1500 just trying to get a replica to fit. I have a gap in my bumper by the sidemarker... /the body shop I goto said its probably because the fender clamp is busted... dumb accidents with road animals, but yeah shouldnt be too much if your kits fits good as is

your car looks great gato. im glad it worked out for you in the end. i remember reading about your misfortune. might wanna look into resizing your sig tho. its almost 9 times the size limit for signatures. just bringing it up before a mod does. cheers.

^yeah...but what a sweet sig! That turned out great.

I would just make sure you go to a body shop you can trust. Replica kits can be worth the money if the kit's good. I agree that $1500 for a bumper is a little crazy. Good luck and post pics when it's done!
