Recently a stupid woman went into reverse in a parking lot in heavy traffic and rammed into the front of my beautiful, 2004 metallic red RX-8. I got the estimate to be about $1800 bones w/o knowing any internal damage ( it didn't look it was hit that severe, maybe less than 5mph or so).

I wanted to know if I could get an awesome body kit for the price of the damage incurred. More than likely she is paying out of her pocket. I saw one where it makes the RX8s look like the ferraris and I thought that was awesome.

Any links would be great. I have had trouble googling and searching thru these car part sites. Thanks!

I know it's not the newest thing in the world, but it's the most consolidated source and contains almost every kit out there, certainly the most popular. There haven't been a lot of new kits come out the past year. Tsunami, Fabulous, and MintBlue are missing, that's about it off the top of my head. Searching for those three should get you some pics of them.

Not to sound like a ***** but.....

First, there is NO way in hell that a "5mph" back up could get you a $1800 damage (mind you that you said FRONT only...plus you said it doesnt include unknown, if any, internal damages) $1800 is enough for you to get 3-4 brand new OEM bumpers and then some....

The whole thread is about MOST if not ALL freaking bodykits available in the market for the RX-8..... this is a forum FOR RX-8s....what do you mean by "hasnt updated it for the RX-8s"?

I think its just a front, I dont think they make sides and rear for it.

EDIT: Never mind, it does have sides and a rear :D

 

Nope, Autobahn has :

1) Front Bumper
2) Sideskirts
3) Rear Bumper

OR

4) Rear Diffusers

I haven't seen anyone get the rear bumper and exhaust. Looks incredible, you should do it!! I want to know how that exhaust sounds and performs.

 

Yeah that does look Nice. Too bad I'm not rich, I'd have a 20b swapped 500+hp rx8 with that kit and some 19's in no time. Oh and navigation of course (I'm not good w/ streets).

 

The Mazda symbol is scratched and dented, the front bumper is dented and severely scratched in certain areas, the right headlight needs to be replaced and the side panels seem to poke out some. It needs to be realigned. Okay maybe 8-10 mph. Keep in mind I was honking the horn and putting my car in reverse to get hit. She was going faster though.

so you're going to have to shell out extra money if you want an aftermarket front bumper.
