B Pillar Applique

Hi all

Looking for feedback on B pillar appliques please. I am looking at either the non genuine B pillar Applique with RX8 logo or the genuine OEM product.

Has anyone got either of these on their ride and if so is there much difference between the two. One is much dearer than the other being original OEM equipment.

I wondered if the logo's look the same or if the OEM product has more detail?

Cheers

Are yours the OEM ones or the third party ones?

The ones with the RX-8 logo are also OEM accessories unless some company started to create replicas in the meantime.

Mine look perfect after several years. Just the same like when I installed them.

Yeah, you can get third party replica's which also have the RX8 logo. I guess I am trying to find out if I should buy the original OEM parts or go cheaper with the copies. I have notbeen able to find a picture of the RX8 logo on the copies so I can compare.

I tend to prefer original parts though, so maybe I have answered my own question.

hehe

mine are the OEM ones.. they were pretty cheap so didnt see a need to go with knock offs. My original B pillars had water spots that just would not go away so the covers were just that... the fact that they look great was just an added bonus

I bought the piano black b-pillars from RotaryFX and applied them with a hairdryer. They still look good after a year. I'd give them a thumbs up.
