Autoexe kit

Hey guys, I am looking into purchasing the Autoexe bodykit but rotaryextreme is way overpriced and even if their kit is real, it is made out of fiberglass. Does anyone know where I can get this full kit made out of urethane for a reasonable price. Also, what do you guys think of this kit? Do you think its worth paying for? Thank you for your input.

Rotary Extreme's kit is a MazdaSpeed "style" (copy) kit, not AutoExe. They do sell the AutoExe though, but when you factor in shipping, their prices are not that out of line.

Far as I know, the only other place that sells the AutoExe kit right now is Japanparts.com .

Hope this helps.

This one has been my long time favorite. RE is selling the real thing, and the real thing from Japan isn't cheap. I have the same thoughts though... too expensive and no way on fiberglass. No one I know of makes a urethane copy of it either...

What do you think of this... https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...5&pagenumber=2

I'm not looking for a custom kit and I dont know what Maxxtunning is planning to make. I just like the style of the autoexe. BTW, $3000 for a fiberglass kit is way overpriced. Even thought its real, its not worth it. If i hit a dip and it cracks, there goes my $1100 for the front bumper.

vividracing only sells the real fiberglass ones, and i think they were selling them at 2100 w/o shipping which is still too much

Exactly. As everyone is trying to tell you the actual price from AutoExe is expensive, so you will never find it at the price you are looking for. And AutoExe makes it from fiberglass. So unless you can get 20 or more people together to convince RotaryExtreme to make a urethane copy... you are basically SOL (**** out of luck). Try another kit...

I love the trunk of the auto exe with the built in lip. Its really amazing.. Is that piece fiberglass too? would it matter since its the trunk? I would imagine you only have problems with the fiberglass when you are replacing the bumpers that are actually in danger of impact right?

Yeah, and that's pretty hard to do. I couldn't even get 4 comittments from folks to do RE replica rear bumper.

Hmm. Well trunk lid vs bumper, I'd rather my trunk lid be fiberglass. But to be honest I'd rather have Carbon Fiber than fiberglass... but yeah, it don't imagine it being a problem. I just wonder if it is noticably not metal...
