Autobahn body kit

yes it is. most kits for the RX8 are FRP. genuine Mazdaspeed is made of Metton. there are some Hybrid FRP offered by Ings+1 and shineautoproject replicas. the only polyurethane kits i know of are replicas

hey if its shine's replica..make sure to get that thing doused with high quality adhesion promoter, not that cheap bulldog spray. After a year, with the best stuff the shop could get, im just starting to get one of those dreaded spider webs under the paint because that front is so flexable...definitely not as bad as some of the spiderweb stories I hear. Cant wait to see the bumper on a winning blue!

No it's not peeling...just it makes the headlights look smaller....isn't bigger better hehe J/K. Actually just had the car repainted so they had to take off the eyelids. When it was done it didn't look too bad with them off. So....maybe considering it.
Oh...I live in Nei Hu, Taipei....close to the new Technology Center.
Kei=Win huh? Guess they didn't win too much huh since they went outta business right? =P Well eyelids are a must I would choose KEI over other ones

Ok...convinced...will keep the KEIs.
NOTURX8...tks there we so many kits out there but just felt this one would be different since most lines of other kits are round in the front. So far haven't seen any in Taiwan. So I guess I am in only one in the country. Shhhhhh don't want to be too loud since I wanna keep it that way.
By the way what kind of material is Metton....is it like our regular ABs since those are the best but I guess no aftermarket does it cuz tooling is too expensive...so most got with FRP. FRP is cheap, bad this is they aren't strong at all. These are like 2 MPH pumpers now.

my autobahn (replica) is coming off for the winter. too low to risk it n the snow. i will get it repainted properly before it goes back on. the color is a touch off in certain light. but as for as the "replica" part the fitment was amazing in my opinion.

We're not talking big companies when we talk about shops like Fujita Engineering (FEED), Au-to Bahn, Knight Sports etc.
We're talking about small shops that have a love of cars and do what they can to survive. These guys aren't rolling in money, and every single sale they make helps them out.
Why not support replicas? Simple, if you want the companies to stay around and keep producing the parts that you find so hot, SUPPORT THE COMPANY, not the REPLICATOR.
I also understand the argument of cost, believe me, but I steadfastly refuse to put a part on my car that is not an authentic part from the company that designed it. That's why my car is STILL stock since '06, I can't afford authentic. But I'd rather wait and support the companies I love so much, than harm them by buying ripoffs.

Actually no, I don't, for the same reason. I support the artists who make the music I enjoy. I also go to their live shows even if they suck live, just to support them and help them keep going.
I use iTunes for all of my music needs.
