anyone remove the rear rotary symbol?

Looking into "sleeper" body mods" kind of thing.
I am not really into body kits although some do look really good.
My thought is to remove the rear rotary symbol and to take the "grilling" all the way across.
I took the one off the front to help increase the airflow for cooling and with all the other stuff i did i have my s.c. car running under 190F in traffic and a 94F day!i.
anyone good at photoshop?
thanks guys

You cut out the plastic "V" shape in your front bumper to increase air flow?

Yup I'm lost too. Can you take a picture?

Perhaps he means he cut the plastic fake mesh on the front?

Theres some other threads where they cut out the fake mesh on the rear bumper and put real wire mesh there. It looked pretty good actually.

I think one of the attachment points is molded into the right hand portion of the fake "screen", so watch that you don't lose it. Also, you'll be looking at the heat shield which isn't so attractive. A real grill would mask that some. The couple I've seen have looked good, so I'm considering it myself. I'm just looking to get some heat ventilated from under the trunk. Post some pics if you do it.....or rather, have someone else post them for you.

the rear rotary shape on the black plastic part is one whole piece. i don't thnk you can get rid of that. you might be able to cut out that entire section and put in some actual grill/screen.

i had to cut that section in half when i installed my MS rear bumper.

yes i did remove the front rotor symbol when i was 1st trying to get the car's coolant temps under control. it messes with airflow more than you may think.
after we figured out how to really do a mod to really help with cooling, it ended up as not being something you have to do.
I do like the clean look though.
Sounds like the rear may be a bit more involved.
