Tell me about your experience with the Clear Bra

I often take my 8 to the mountains for obvious reasons. My wifes parents have a house up there but the road into it a mixture of tar and gravel and simply dirt roads, There is lots of loose gravel, as they are always repairing the roads. I have had no issue with rock chips on my front bumper of course because I don't follow any one that close. However upon washing my car this week after a trip up there, I noticed what I though was some sort of residue on the rocker panels just behind the front wheels. I tried scrubbing it but to no avail. After very close inspection it was hundreds of scratches and marks in the pant itself. Being a freak about my car my heart sank. I got out the wax and got most of these marks out. There were maybe a couple of them I could not but a big improvement.

So to get to my question. I know several members have had the clear bra installed. The high impact film that is also on the rear wheel flare from the factory.

I don't have spash guards because basically I don't like how the look without the ground effects stuff on the side.

Anyway I want to get the rocker panels coated with this stuff to prevent long term damage. I plan on having this car a long time. Does anyone have any thoughts on this. I have seen the aftermarket jobs on some of the threads around here, and it looks good. Are there any bad experiences?

By the way, they are going to charge $75 dollars a sie for the install. It sounds reasonable enough to me, if it takes away my worries :-)

Here is a link to the website with the film.
