Ambient Temp Sensor relocation?

A friend of mine just got an authentic Vertex Lang kit.
While test fitting it, he says that the temp sensor is just low enough to make the bumper not want to fit right.
After looking at the bumper's opening and where they open, I believe the openings are a bit higher than stock and it probably is the sensor that is getting in the way.
I don't remember this being a problem when I installed my RB ram air duct/intake.
I was wondering if anyone has relocated it anywhere? And if you have where?
I'll be heading over there tonight to see if I can help him out and I was hoping someone has messed with this before.
Worst case scenario, I guess we can just remove it in general?

Unclip it and zip tie it wherever it fits

Okay, just making sure it was easy as that.
I couldn't remember how it was mounted/wired.
Thanks!
