alloy brackets for MS style wings

How many people ordered the spoiler from Carsoption.com? In the thread started by Kel RX8, I read that D Menac 7 was going to get a concensus regarding replacing metal brackets for the fiberglass ones. Is that still going on? And who is interested.

I have the wing and would like to upgrade to the metal brackets. I have found a tooling shoop that can make the brackets in short time and have a cost as low as $45/set as long as I get 15 people. If I order more the cheaper the pieces gets. The fabricator recommends an aircraft aluminum for the brackets. I have a sample of the bent piece of aluminim. Can I get a consensus?

edit: 45/piece => 45/set

I apologize for not being more concise. I meant for all the brackets to be $45. That's 4 pieces.

Here are the pics of the sample. By the way, the aluminum can be polished to a chrome like appearance (if you like that look).

v300 count me in as long as they look like the current carsoption brackets. As long as they look close to original as possible count me in.

The brackets will be machined as close to the Mazdaspeed Rotary design (mounting holes and rotary symbol etc).

I really need 15 people to keep the cost low and give the fabricator a thumbs up.

...based on how much? The guy can make one set, however, I do not really want to pay $120 for it.

Sofar, it seems like:

D Menac 7
ella7
legina
KelRX8
V300 <- myself are interested so far.

Seriously need more people to keep cost low.

I don't even have a replica MS wing now, but for $45 I'm in. I'm not paying $700+ for the MS one and just don't like the "plastic" brackets on the replica. If I could get real metal brackets I might just take the plunge on the replica.

Why dont you just fork out the money for the extra brackets and them sell them as people need them for $75 and make some money on them? Im sure alot of people didnt want to buy the replica cause the brackets were not metal. Thats why I didnt buy it. If people know they can get metal brackets they will buy the replica. I got lucky and ended up finding the real MS one on ebay from Rosenthal and bought it for $725 shipped.
