I just received my air dam yesterday and Im looking over the instructions...its says that you have to take the front bumper off to install it....is that the case? as anyone installed it without taking it off?

I had two put on mine at the dealer.First one was defective, and both times they had to remove the bumper. It's really not that difficult. Check the DIY on bumper removal.

Yup, you have to take the bumper off. Once you get it off, you have to strip the bumper of the factory black piece, then locate little crosshairs on the back of the bumper to drill 6 (i think) holes through it.

Just remember that if you have foglights to remember to disconnect them... that step wasn't exactly in the instructions

Its really not that hard, but if you are afraid to drill your car, I suggest you get some help, or let the dealer do it. Shouldn't take more than 2 hours if you're taking your time.
