3m clear bra

So I have a few questions about this stuff.

I bought the full aero kit and want to protect it. So I want to get some clear protectant. But from what I've read it costs a lot.... like more than the full kit...

So first how much would the material cost if I get enough for the air dam and side flares? (and where would I get it)

Can I install it myself? and by that I mean make it look nice?

It's pretty hard to install but most tint places offer alternatives but they wont last as long as the 3M. From what I found its like $400.00 labor to install.
