Looks like I will be picking up a 04 RX8 on Sunday, Anyway before I order the OEM Aero kit, will the 09 Body panels swap on or is it a complete different body?

Any threads on this? New to RX8's so my search keywords are very primitive to say the least.

So if you change the front and rear bumpers it will all line up? I see the fenders are different, will they work?

Yeah, you'll need headlights, taillights, front and rear bumpers, fenders and who knows what else. Can be done, but lots of money. There are aftermarket options that are similar though. Both AutoExe and RE Amemiya have front bumpers.

 

Yes, anything possible with enough money. But if you are asking if it will just bolt up without modification then no. One guy in Singapore has successfully convertes his Series 1 RX-8 to a full R3 front but he is the only one that I know of. If you want the look of teh 09' then get the Autoexe front bumper.

Re amemiya has an s2 style for the the s1...
Other than that we have the same chassis, just change the headlights, bumper, fenders and rear headlights and bumper if you fancy the new rear as well.
Maybe the hood, not sure.

9krpmrx8 has a ti gray with the autoexe front now. Rotr8 is the real owner

 

The front and rear lights really make the conversion expensive. More than it is worth IMO.
