when was the last time this CZ tuning website updated?

http://tyrannical.org/page-15

is all the info here pretty much up to date?
the top of the webpage shows sep 30 200x...2004? 2005?
would i be playing it safe with the guidelines within the website regarding a/f ratio when i tune the cz at home?
thanks.

um... not sure. it says copyright 2000-2004 so I would guess during that time. If they wrote it 05 or later it would have been copyrghted again... right?

Almost meaning, your might as well start with a zeroed out map first. I would not use anybody elses maps. All our cars are different enough that one map for everybody does not work anymore. Do you have a can bus scanner to data log your air fuel ratios?

For tuning your CZ:

yeah. although used, i'm buying the whole package. cz, canscan and everything else.

zeroed out map- i'm guessing this is what you call the original map issued by canzoomer, either stage 1 or 2...am i right? if so, can i simply download these from somewhere? because the one i'm getting has a map tuned by the previous owner.
i sure don't want to blow up anything...

btw, thanks for the help. i sure hope i can hit 205 whp like you did.

I haven't updated it in a while since I no longer own any CZ's (At one point I had 3).

There isn't much to update anyway, since the CZ hardware is still the same.

Even if you told your car to go with a AFR of 20, your car would not comply, and would cut the fuel. The CZ doesn't have full control over your car like the interceptor-x, so it's a lot more forgiving.

IMO there are no more stage 1 or 2 or 3 maps. It all depends on what mods to your car you have done. Stage 1 was just pulling fuel, while stage 2 pulled fuel and changed timing, but it also required that you change your midpipe/CAT.

A zeroed out map is a blank map (same as no map at all) Start from scratch if you want to really learn what you are doing.

The original maps wer based on the "M" flash, so they are not really usable without being altered for your current flash level.

Jason's website was how I originally learned, but it is really just pullling tons of logs and making subtle changes to see your results.
