I'm going to be picking up my RX within the next few weeks, and am considering the canzoomer stage 1 mod, as I want the car as mazda intended it.

How long should I wait until I install the mod? 1000-2000 miles is what I was thinking.

Has anyone experienced any warranty issues with the stage 1 as well? I'd hate to run into warranty issues by installing the mod.

I broke the car in first. At 1k mi. I got my first oil change then took the car over to the RX8Store for a new exhaust. 3 weeks later I installed the Stage 1. Everythings been fine thusfar. You don't want the Stage 1 and not be able to hammer it. That's all the fun!

 

It is always good to give your car time to let seals and stuff set proper.

 

I would at least wait until you've got 1000 miles on your car before you get your Stage 1... heck, you're not even supposed to take it over 7000 RPM during break in, so Stage 1 would not do you any good.
