Stage 1/2 Versus Ric Shaw's ECU Piggy back?
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...threadid=18612
Just reading up on Ric Shaw's fully programmable ECU Piggy back.. he claims to have gotten a Stage 1 and was comparing.. I was wondering if anyone else (Canzoomer??) has A/B'd the two ECU mods... I also saw no indication of pricing on Ric's mod, or if it even works...etc. let alone availibility (though I've yet to receive my Stage-1, but I was told it was shipping this week, so I'll keep my fingers crossed).
Anyway, anyone else that has played with both, it would be nice to hear a review..

The basic unit which has only speed limit and rev limit removed is 45,000 JPY - 50,000 JPY. A/F maps in addition to that run 75,000 JPY and A/F and timing plus will run you 95,000 JPY to 98,000 JPY. But there are companies that do an auto unit... and many companies that make the piggyback ECUs. RE Pride, Fujita Engeering, Knight Sports...
