And I am somewhat perplexed.

When I first logged my car I noticed that I seemed to be running the stage2 map cause it was kinda high and looked a little bad. We tweaked it for a while and I just need to lower my high RPM AFR's cause they are hitting 14.2 in the 7 to 8K RPM range. Aaaanyway, I logged a second gear run on lou's car with no stage1 and damn! It looks great! A tiny bit low, but just around 13.2 dipping to 12.9, but overall very smooth.

What did you do lou? Your car stock looks better than some tweaked ones!.

I'll grab the data off the laptop when I can get to a wireless point :D but I was surprised.

 

did you try a side by side test with Lou?

also, M flash leans things out a good bit, but retards the advance to protect from pinging. add that advance back in and he'll have a rocket

 

Will your car start to ping if your afr is too high? Is this a told tell sign or can there be other causes for this.. such as the gus you are using.. The fact that it's cold outside and more/denser air is being thrown into the mix.. etc...?

 

I talk to my car all day long. I keep telling her to get on a diet and go lean. Thats what I do :D Yuri, playing with the stage 1 was awesome. I may have to get one now. :D
