Need help with Rear Fog Lamp details
Hi I'm interested in installing the OEM Mazda rear fog lamp on my RX-8.
I need to know what this installation entails for a US Spec RX-8.
I have a GT with DSC.
I want to know which parts should I get, if it will require the full kit, ro just the lamp assembly and switch (version for DSC cars).
Also, I'm interested in finding out how to install it so that the rear fog lamp works as a brake light while the foglamp switch is off, and still be capable of being a fog light when switched on.
(i believe somebody may have already done just that somewhere on this forum)
anyway, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Canzoomer sells (a) the rear lamp alone, (b) the switch alone, (c) the dual function switch that controls both the rear fog and DSC (it replaces the existing DSC switch), and I believe a full kit with (a) and (c) above plus the wiring harness. If you want as close as you can get to plug and play, buy the full kit... but even that is a pretty complicated install. I personally bought just (a) and (c) and will be doing the wiring myself - eventually.
Hope this helps at least a bit. Better than no responses at all! If you want a really good response from Maurice himself, I'd suggest you email him directly (maurice@harddata.com) or call him (780-456-1510)
