Have anyone installed emanage ultimate on a Type S 6 speed?

I owned a japanese version of the Type S with DSC and TCS and would like to install emanage ultimate.

I do not plan to turbo-rize my car at the moment, but would like to improve efficiency.

One of the most irritating feature about my car is that it has a 187km/h speed limit which I would like to use emanage to remove it.

I have gone through the software and there is a feature for me to deactivate the speed limiter, however my tuner inform me that they are unsure whether if it will work or not.

As emanage ultimate provides the feature, I do not want to purchase the HKS SLD Z33.

The current modes I have is the AutoExe stainless steel exhaust and low downsprings.

Can anyone provide more info??

StuttgartRX8 is right. Type S is the 6 speed manual version of the RX8 that comes with the DSC and TCS in japan. sorry didnt explain that properly.

 

Sounds like GT in the states.

Not sure if the stock ECU is the same as ours, but if it is, there is tons of info here on how to install and tune it.

Thats the japanese model name, they have Type E and Type S

You might want to do FEED's ECU tunning, thats what you should be looking for.

EMU is a great tool, but its always easier to use your stock computer.
