i recently bought a emu and harness and the harness comes with a little chip that plugs onto the board of the emu does anyone know if this chip is supposed to go on or stay off for the rx8 since it did come with the rx8 wiring harness.
anyone have any good N/A maps they would like to share please???

who/what company did you get your harness from?

As far as your question I would venture to guess that the chip should be installed on the EMU. Did you have to specify turbo or N/A when you placed the order for the harness?

 

It doesn't sound like the ignition chip... as they wouldn't package it seperate. The pins would break.

i never specified if the emanage was for turbo or NA i didn't know you could specify.
i ordered it from Croydon Racing in Australia and when they checked there wasn't an option for Turbo or NA for the harness. Is there???
How does the Emanage know if you have a Turbo or NA car?

 

The little chip i'm refering to didn't come in that black plastic box in that picture.
it came in a plastic anti static sleave.
The Harness was ordered direct from Japan hence the Japanese instructions.
on the box it's marked MA-11 for MT and MA-10 for AT
i have the MA-11 which i would assume is for Manual Transmission or as my American Cousin refers to it Stick Shift.

didn't look like it did anything on or off.
anyone know what it actually does?
My Turbo just came in today!
