Jeff, where in the firewall of the car can I run my USB cable through?

Remove the windshield washer resivoir and drill a hole through the raised "bump" on the firewall.
This will come out behind the glovebox.

I ve purchased with the profec e0-1 a harness that it says that it connects on the signal...but it has a connector only from the one side..THe wires from the other side are naked..They need to cut and paste to the emanage harnesses maybe..Is this optional???where do i need to cut paste etc???offcourse i have a greddy turbo.. :D

I currently have the Profec B spec II but I'm switching it out with the E-01 so I can hold 7psi throughout the RPM range. There's a couple of things when installing the E-01 with the Greddy turbo kit.

- You will need to send in your SD memory card to Benny at Greddy USA so he can update it and have it work with the RX8 emanage.
- Buy the Pressure Sensor harness found on this page for $20.
You disconnect the pressure sensor that's hooked up to the emanage now and connect it to the E-01, then install this cable from the E-01 to the emanage. Yes, you will have a left over pressure sensor.
- Buy a USB A/B cable like this one $5, found on the same site or any computer store. This enables the E-01 and emanage to talk to each other (upload/ change maps).

The rest of the install is pretty straight forward except for the RPM signal wire (brown) on the E-01 power harness.
I talked to Benny and he said it connects to the brown wire on the RPM dongle (it's the bottom one in the picture, ends in 3).



Also, I've installed mine where Jeff did and routed the wires through the unused airbag plastic cover. I used my old cell phone holder as the base, it's $30 and found here. The E-01 bracket screwed in perfectly with the base holes and I can still access all the radio buttons and open the glovebox.
Pictures below. Also, I'm going to put the wired remote on the bottom portion of the bracket. Test fitted and looks like it'll fit.

I still need to remove my Profec B spec II and put it on ebay and buy a new radio trim piece.

I'm sure Greddy Greece can get it done. I only put Greddy USA cause that's who I'm going through and most other people will too.
All they have to do is update the E-01 using the SD card to version 1.42

i don't see why this step is needed as the map is locked so why updating??anyway i ll give them a call on Monday...This was my last problem...I am running very rich with the stock cat..I ll try again with the high flow cat and if i c arround 12 i ll keep it on...

The update is required if you intend on tuning or monitoring the E-Manage program via the E-01.
The program is locked, but you just clear it out and reload with one of the versions available on the forum.

You can easily get an unlocked copy around here somewhere. The update is so the E-01 works with the emanage.

Hey guys where do you connect the signal harness...Where do you need to cut the wires of the emanage to paste the harness and take the advantages of seeing in profec afr etc????Please this is the only thing left right now...

Good question. I didn't get that signal harness. Jeff should know, I believe he has it hooked up.

That harness doesn't go to the E-Manage.
That is for bringing in external signals into the Profec. If you have a wide-band O2s, you can set it up to send a voltage to the Profec through that harness.

No, it is exceptionally useful.
However, you need to know what you plan to use it for.
