Hello. I just recently bought a 2004 rx8 with manual tranny and then shortly after bought a cobb accessport (hard to find now). I am thinking of buying bhr midpipe but would like to learn how to use dtc delete function. cobb had there race tuner beta version but no one seems to answer emails there. I am hoping some one here can help. Thanks

 

You go to options, and uncheck the DTC's you want turned off - once you have the racetuner it is pretty easy.

That being said, be careful and ensure you understand the Cobb and RX8 PCM before you go all crazy tuning it yourself. Jeff (MazdaManiac) does a seminar to help out, and I have given a few tutorials over the years as well.

There are some DIY tuning guides I've done in this same forum.

It's not that hard to find...

 

I like to buy off of web sites like racing beat, corksport and things like that. I bouth minea month ago on ebay because all the normal places i checked were sold out and mazdamaniac did not respond to any emails i had sent. so I found one on ebay. Any way enough with the hard to find part. I do not have a copy of race tuner. How would i be able to address the dtc delte function. or do i need the race tuner? If so were do i get it since cobb is not responding to my request for a beta version?

 

Racetuner, only from Cobb that I know of.
