COBB AP CEL masked, force readiness for inspection
I had mine recently and evap took a solid 6 weeks for no apparent reason. Ended up having to register the car late.
Do you need an air pump gk? I have the one from my car ready to ship if you want to buy it (or borrow it and pay shipping).

So I checked the monitors everything registers ready except secondary air. Evap is ready as well.
But there are a few that register as "N/A" I'm not sure they're even applicable to the 8 though.
The monitors are "HCM", "A/C" and "EGR". Well I know we don't have EGR systems so I'm pretty sure that one doesn't apply.
Legot thanks for the offer I will let you know if I need the pump.

That's what I was thinking. Thanks Team for clearing it up. Yeah secondary air is the only one not ready, and one monitor unready is allowed for NY state inspection. I think I should be fine since the rest register as ready.
I would doubt that the Air Pump monitor will ever set. It isn't just a matter of it not throwing a CEL...it is likely looking for the reaction to the rear o2 sensor that you won't get without the pump

Could someone please post the list of masked check engine lights by there Cobb AP that allows readiness monitors to complete. Because it seems if the wrong ones are masked it will never okay the readiness monitors.
Example: If you mask the P0410 you will never see the secondary air monitor complete. (based on what other have stated and tested/confirmed by me).
Do to emissions testing I must complete all but one.
Is there a particular sequence that the readiness monitors check and complete. It seems that the order is (1st) oxygen sensor heater, (2nd) Secondary air system, (3rd)___?___, (4th)___?___, (5th)___?___.
My guess would be (3rd) Oxygen sensor, (4th) catalyst, and (5th) Evaporative system...

Jk-v6, man do a little reading I try not to be too big of a jerk but if your too lazy to even read the thread your posting in than you need the old search or gtfo adage.
BTW I passed with no air pump, cat, or rear o2. In Texas last week.

I have been reading up on this and I just want to get a definitive answer. What year is your car? can you post a snapshot of your masked check engine light codes in ATR, Thanks.
I specifically have a map with *all* CELs masked for inspection. Yes every single one. My secondary air monitor seems to never be ready regardless of what CEL I mask as I don't have a cat, air pump or solenoid.
But its fine for NY state and I believe most states as well allow one monitor unready. I pass inspection with no problem here in NYC.
