Congrats on the great job cracking the 8 ECU, it would seem that there is quite a bit of power also to be had locked in the the 6s ECU as we have shown that a single CAI can yield 20WHP over the stock setup.

The problem is, by adding the CAI, we are getting CEL's from our ECU, it would seem that the computer is a bit of a nanny and any change to the SFT to LFT ratio's send it into a tissy. That, and we aren't tuned for premium fuel.

I know you guys our busy with the 8, but there are a ton of 6 folks who would love a ECU piggyback both for the 6s and 6i that would add more power and turn down the oversensativity. Visit http://mazda6club.com/forums/ if you would like more info.

If somebody will volunteer a 6 for us to tune, we can easily do the same thing.

 

I too have a Mazda 6S, and would be interested in a CZ stage 1 for it. Especially if it addressed the throttle hesitation issue.

 

I guess we need to hunt down a willing 6 owner here in Alberta then..

Our 6 is a worse gas guzzler then my 8!!! It needs some better tuning pronto.

Actually, there's a half dozen or so of us on this board that have both a Mazda 6 and an RX-8... makes a nice combo.

 

I have a MX5 and a 93 RX-7 for me it was the RX-8 OR the Mazda 6. Had to take the 8

Wich is another mazda marvel with it's small superchrged six and luxury out the ying yang.

But i wanna sell it and buy a six

I love that car it's sooo nice but for now ithe millenia S will have to do.
