The data logging worked great, EXCEPT that it doesnt' have some crucial variables?!?! In the "options", it has accelerator position, collant temp, ignition advance, intake temp, and a dozen other things. BUT IT DOESNT HAVE AFR / equivalence ratio! That, nor speed. I'm trying to get a data log to send to MM so my tune can be updated (the AP itself says i'm running in the low 11's, N/A), but I know without a graph of AFR that's nearly impossible.

Did anyone else notice this?? Am I missing this option or something somewhere?? "MAF (g/s)" and "MAF voltage" are there, and a few other useful ones, but no "equivalence ratio".

Aside from that issue, after downloading the "dongle" driver and making sure the ap manager software was installed, the tuner race software ran perfectly. Some slight display glitches (on Vista) but aside from that, a very nice program. Except the lack of AFR logging!!

Ideas??

One more thing - if you go to the "options" while in "live tuning" mode, the options tabs change! if connected while "live" there are a number of checkboxes of which data to log, but AFR is not one of them. If it is NOT in live mode, there appears to be a number of tabs allowing you to connect with different external O2 sensors. Does this imply that logging of the equivalence ratio (usually just displayed by the AP "live data" screen) is not available to be logged through this software?

That's all I can tell....could anyone clarify this? Thanks....

AFR is called Lambda in the options. Vehicle speed is called VSS I believe.

THANKS. I've never dealt with lambda before, but wikipedia tells me how to convert it to AFR :-) And I didnt know what VSS is, but I assumed it was in mph. Clearly it's in kph because I know i didn't hit 130!

Thanks again!

can someone post up a csv file from the ATR software that includes maf, load, speed, afr, and rpms?

I'm working on an auto importing and graphing excel spreadsheet and need a csv to work with. My own don't have the speed on and I can't make one quickly since my AP is not installed do to some dealer maintenance...

The MAF scaling is not working in live tuning mode. It goes all the way to the max flow/voltage box and stays there? Has COBB come out with a fix for this??

I'm not sure what you are talking about. MAF scaling? You do realize that the RX-8 version of the AccessPORT doesn't support live tuning, right?

Is this version of the software going to work with a european accessport and a EuroDM 2006 RX8?
I just downloaded it but I don't have my accessport at work to try it out...

It might.
Hard to say. I don't know is basing the current builds of the "RACE" software on the same platform as the current "PRO" software which does support all of the EUDM/AUDM/JDM PCMs.

No live tuning so if you want to switch to the "valet" or "anti-theft" you have to wait the ~2min "reflash"?

I really wish they would just make a way for the AP to do some logging

and
Uhm... What's the difference of the TunerRace_RX8M_06.exe and the TunerRace_RX8M_06C.exe the "C" one is California?

IF IT IS, I suggest non California to get this one instead:

It may be a little while before Cobb gets that version to the market.

Why do you say that?
Is there a specific reason you say that?
