~7500 rpm and stage 1..

I've been playing with the RPM range. 2nd/3rd gear at the upper RPM levels, and I mentioned this once before, but there is a SIGNIFICAT power drop off w/stage-1 on at around 7000-7500 rpm. Anyone else notice this?? I can SLOWLY increase from 6500-8500 rpms and FEEL the power changes...

The dip is part of the pre- "L" PCM calibration, the CZ box just makes it more noticable.
Get your PCM flashed.

The L flash made some huge changes in the base ECU fuel/air and ignition timing maps.
We have now competed new maps for our Stage1/2 kits to compensate for this properly.
See the new thread I just posted here that shows what they did in the L flash tuning.
The proper solution is to get the Stage1 reflashed with our new maps.
We offer a kit with cable and software for this purpose for $75.
Wit it you wil be able to install further upgrades of the map in the future as well.

canzoomer you say you made new maps for stage 2 also? i just ordered mines put they have never made any flashes to my computer,is the stage 2 still going to give me the 40 hp or are the numbers down since you been remapping the stages 1 and 2.also how come you never posted a dyno chart on stage 2 or did i miss it?
