wait, which line u mean the one coming from the master cylinder ?? i dont follow...

I want to take of the nut and replace, cant i do that now that that one is so badly rounded?

ill be installin SS lines soon too. Ill most likely get stuck somewhere aswell or break somethin or some dumb **** like that lol. Hopefully u guys can provide quick replies when im in need of advice.

if it is like all the other brake lines I've seen the nut is part of the line and can't be replaced without replacing the line, the end of the line is curled outwards to keep the nut from seperating

So if i break it lose with this vise grip and then lock it back with the vise grip, is it safe to drive on while i order the replacement.

this car is my DD and i didn't realize my standard metric set would be dfif than this, in the DIY it said the standard 10... i jus couldnt figure why it wouldnt pull and before i knew it, rounded out...

i would not take it off till you have the replacement and proper tools...

so what size is the line (brake) wrench needed to actually remove the line? Not sure we have a definite answer on that yet...

used this DIY yesterday, came in pretty handy! I'm doing this to another 8 next weekend so I'll try and take some pics or add a few side notes to this.

anyone know off hand the size of the stock bleed screw on the brakes? how about the clutch bleed screw?

also, how about help finding the clutch bleed screw?

doing this job on weekend, just tyring to make sure i got everything, cause if i dont, i have to walk to ace.

Sorry I don't have an answer, I changed to the Speed Bleeders a couple of years ago. This posted link is for the Speed Bleeders and they are imperial sizes. The stock one are metric and are not close enough to use the same tools.

My mistake I misread and assumed he was asking about the tools required
