DIY: Dual or Single Purge Kit

So a Few Days ago i installed my dual purge kit and pretty much i love it and the looks you get are just priceless....

Tools needed: Drill with 13/32 drill bit (for the button install)
Combo Wrench
wire cutters or a knife
Electrical Tape
Coat hanger wire (for the wire feed through)
flash light (optional but always nice to see in the dark spots)
closed ended wrench and pliers
Food and Drink keep ya going

Step 1: Your going to need to unscrew the fuel and nitrous input lines because the splitter is too fat to just unscrew the nitrous line.

Step 2: once you have installed the splitter purge line go ahead and attach everything back up nice and tight, but not too too tight. then find a good place to put the purge solenoids. I got really lucky on where i placed my Zex kit that i was able to just Unscrew the bolt for the air pump. Pic shows what i'm talking about, and who wants to screw a bolt into the firewall.....

Step 3: If your unable to do the same setup as me dont worry there are so many bolts i located in there on either side that you can use to do the same method. but before you get the solenoid tight make sure your purge lines have the proper distance to get to Desired place. I chose the Wiper sprayer area.

Step 4: Once you have tied down the dual or single purge line then go ahead and tighten everything down. ie Input to solenoid and output and solenoid bolt down.

Step 5: go ahead and pick any of the 2 wires that the solenoid has and use it as a ground, again you dont have to drill into the firewall just find a small bolt that is attached to the a proper ground.

Step 6: Take the remaining wire and attach it to the Red wire provided by Zex, now is the tricky part, i started in the cab first cause it was just way to hard the other way. take the hanger wire and attach the red wire on the wire via electrical tape and feed it through the hood open hole. once through the hole attach it to the solenoid.

Step 7: Locate the Acc Wire. if you already have a Zex or nitrous kit installed go ahead and just tap in to the wire you already spliced its much eaiser. take the remaining fuse and and connect it to the button.

Step 8: Drill for the button, the 13/32 drill bit is perfect so that the bolt the purge button comes with will keep it nice and tight. pic for drill spot. Imo pretty badass spot.

Step 9: After that just clean it all up and make it nice, and push the button and feel the POWER!!!! but really its pretty funny to spray it at a stop light, people are like WTF??!?!?!? hmm and then look again, and yup spray it!! pretty easy install. Have Fun

a trick for bending the pipe for the purge line is take a closed end wrench and then pliers use it as a vice kinda thing, much better than cutting your hands...

Peace!
