Zex Sparkplugs

Hey guys, I have a question, this thing came with my nitrous kit, I don't expect it to be top of the line, but is it at least as good as the stock plugs, or even better? thanks

the parts number is 82003-4

Isn't there somebody on this website who has a "sticky" that addresses the spark plug/nitrous oxide issue? I would imagine if there is, that he/she might also know a bit about the whole Zex line of products...........

I didn't think so. I keep reading how this forum has the most ill-informed collection of idiots out of all the enthusiast-sites out there.

Taj, get a friggin' clue. Look at the damned plugs. Now look at ANY plugs for ANY rotary engine. See a difference? If not, visit your optometrist. A quick visual inspection would answer your question.

aye carumba taja - it must be time to reset your post count again .

So you bought the manual and now you have figured out that it STILL is not as fast as an S2000, 350Z,STI or EVO - what a bummer for you .

Taj, if I thought that the Zex plugs were a good, inexpensive, alternative I would have noted so. Use the factory plugs pursuant to my thread and quit trying to re-invent the wheel. The thing that makes one person truly smarter than another is being aware of the limits of their own knowledge.

Since the RX-8 is not even listed on Zex's site I doubt you would find anyone that would use those plugs on a car it was not intended for.

I haven't looked lately but does Zex list the RX-8 in their 82021 application guide?

Just looked and yes the 82021 is the one they sell for the 8, and other cars. But it doesn't come with plugs and the instructions for the 82021 only makes general comments about plugs. Charles info on the subject should supersed anything else you might read.

Or, at least, the ability to extrapolate from existing information and make an informed decision without having to beg for a specific answer.
