Thanks for the suggestions everyone. March begins the upgrades! I think I will get strut braces and Tein S-Techs first. Then in May I am thinking Mazdaspeed flywheel. In June comes the exhaust.

I'm pretty sure the car will seem brand new to me again.

Asking whats mods would people do 1st is kinda like asking what color would you buy!
I guess it's just up to the individual. I track day on Road Atlanta with a group of other 8 owners and the best mod we came up with is the one between the streering wheel and the seat!
Stock this car is very capable and we realized we(the driver ) was the thing that needed work first!
Still my mods are like this:
CZ unit
Racing beat cat back
Home made true cold air intake with upgraded filter
Racing Beat sway bars.
ACT streetlite flywheel
Better brake fluid
Mazdaspeed front strut brace
6 pack beer for after the track day!
My reasons:
Cz does give me some instant power that I can turn on and off
Rb cat back-- love the sound and the looks
Intake --did you ever feel how hot that stock box gets at low speeds!
RB sway bars-- obtained after 1st track day at Road ATlanta ,kept stock springs as they seem ok for my skill level at present
ACT flywheel- adds a little performance but a lot of character to the car(this was a tough choice because of the cost )
Brake fluid upgrade---cheap insurance
Mazdaspeed fron stut brace--mastercynliner needs more support and the front end needs help as I learn to go faster.
Hope this helps dude and good luck with you project.

Definitely helps man. I wanted to know the logic behind people's upgrades... since the car is so capable to begin with!
