I'm using the LM-1. i don't understand why they state the wiring was confusing to connect.

I mentioned in another thread that several aftermarket wide band vendors were using the VW Bosch LSU-4.2 sensor; Innovate is one of them.

If you are interested in Innovate's wide band driver electronics, take a look at the VEMS open source fuel control schematic, wide band section. The VEMS project is a port of the Megasquirt stuff to the Atmel AVR processor along with some continued development. You will see that the VEMS op-amp based Nernst Cell current source and feedback circuit is nearly identical to the Innovate one.
