whistling sound with intake

hey everybody, got a winning blue 8 with a k&n air intake installed and espelir catback...i've noticed whistling sounds after installing the intake ....has anybody else encountered this problem? ( i think it's a problem ). only wen it's on low rev's i can hear it, wen i go higher around 3000 or more it's gone, it's there only wen i feather the gas pedal...wats wrong =T

no problem, as long as the intake is sealed. thats ur TB suckin in air freely, did you get the ver1 or ver2 k&n intake?

its there above 3000 rpm, its just the engine noise overpowers it

did you remove the vdaf??? not a lot of info to answer the ?

it's the ver1 intake, dun think ver2 was out when i got it, and i figured it worked the same anyways

where are you ... and it is a ver 1? or v2... did you remove the vdaf???

he means vfad. Racing Beat makes a duct that replaces it. It's right under the bumper, in front of your intake.

That's normal, don't worry about it. Although you might see some other problems with your ver1.

o no, i ddin't take off the vfad then lol, i just took off the original one and popped it on, in terms of powerloss i didn't notice anything but the car did get louder and sound more aggressive =D, thanks for the input guys =)
