MazdaTrix seems to have a good selection of RX-8 stuff. They even have Renesis engine parts! And they keep adding more parts to their website seems like every day.

Good sites for performance parts?

Any good websites that sell a large variety of performance parts? Like high quality intakes, air filters, exhaust parts.. stuff like that?

thanks.

Cool

Hey Guys and Girls....I'm fairly new this forum...and it's the only forum I've ever seen....Yeah I don't use computers alot...Anyway I was wondering is there any good places to get performance parts for the Rx8..I dont have an Rx8 yet...It's waiting at a dealership somewhere in Kansas....until Tax season and my next deployment....I was just hoping to be able to find some upgrades so when the Rx8 reachs my garage I can began tweeking it a little.....The only reason I'm really wanting to upgrade anything is because so far on this forum all I've read is the car is awesome...but so many people seem to complain it's not fast enough....

I don't have an 8 yet either, but I'm collecting sites selling parts for the 8. Not too much available yet, but give it a few months...

Not to blow our own horn, but....we've posted the Borla exhaust in the vendor forum and will have more as time goes on. Our website is being redone to add parts for the 8 as well as well as a few other cars so I'll continue to post in the vendor section till the site is finished.

XS Engineering... I have talked to the owner/operations manager that tunes the vehicles and develops the products they manufacture. Basically XS Engineering is a tuning facility and specializes in turbocharging, custom fabrication of turbo kits, as well as tuning. I have been to their facility, met the owner, Eric Hsu, and talked with him before. They CHARGE AN ARM AND A LEG AND A HEAD!!! Not cheap... definately not cheap, but they do a good job at it. Right now they have no interest in the Rx-8 and quite frankly I think they believe the RENESIS to be a P.O.S. and not worth tuning or developing performance products for. They do a great job on other turbo charged cars, and their market is aimed towards those customers. If you want to know anything about the aftermarket community, I most likely know SOMETHING... but XS Engineering is a good company, just not for the RX-8 quite yet... or ever...
