Question Where to buy Mazsport Ignition Solution new?

If they shut there site down and they are not around rx8club anymore? then where can I get this new? Someone has to know them and they have to have some laying around some where.

If not how long do there coils last? and what are all the people going to do when there MIS upgrade gos out and they need new coils?

Thanks,
-Gil

it's not like mazsport made the coils. just look up the part number on the side of your coils and order replacements.

I imagine they will replace those faulty parts with something that works right the first time.

Have you been drinking?
They are GONE.
They never had any "laying around". They built each order with the cash from the next order. People paid for them and never got them before they went away.
If you want one just like it, go to the Microtech site and get the stuff from there.

Or, you can get something that actually works correctly right out of the box and uses readily available parts by following the advice coming from all the posters above me.

I think I missed something. I remember all the crap that was going on and stuff happening legally to them, then one day I just start hearing that they are gone. Had anything been posted to kind of officially announce it (by mazsport or someone on the forum)? Or did they just shutdown their website and stop doing business and that's how we knew?

Not trying to start anything... but if there was a better explanation or somewhat of a "closer" type post, it'd be nice to at least get what finally happened.

To answer your question, no there was no official announcement that was made. There are a couple threads around regarding people trying to make contact because there are outstanding orders where people are waiting to get product. If you're interested just do a search.

As far as I've seen, their website was done for a time, they had their forum space taken off of RX8club's list and no customers have had contact.

What actually happpens remains a mystery. We can only guess.

I see... I'd say I frequent the forums and then got busy and didnt really get to read much for a couple days then it seems like I started seeing "mazsport is gone" posts... thought I missed some big happening. I had kept up with a lot of the legal drama leading up to it so I get the general idea of what happened.

anyways, on topic: as others have mentioned, get the BHR... even if you had the choice, BHR is better.

In the long run ... I believe you will think your day in court was worth it.

Too bad he wasn't a good business man, just a good mechanic.

Someone needs to "rough up" this thread:

https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-parts-sale-wanted-44/fs-mazsport-ignition-soluition-162723/

I would but I've pissed off the mods enough this month already.

The seller shouldn't be scorned. He paid full price for it. If the buyer doesn't know any better, that's their problem.

I pity the "fool" that pays $350 for that kit today.

I emailed mazsport's ebay store a little bit back asking if they were still around:

No, we had to close because of the economy and then on top of that... bad press on rx8 club made it even worse. Thank you for your past support. Chris
