THE QUIETEST MIDPIPE IS THE STOCK CATALYTIC CONVERTER.

anything that removes the cat will be loud. a 2.5" straight pipe, even with resonators, will be loud. a 3" pipe will be louder.

and here is a fun fact...

RESONATORS DO NOT QUIET DOWN THE EXHAUST.

a straight pipe is a straight pipe. its going to be LOUD. thats why people buy them.

resonators remove certain frequencies that people find annoying. but it is not going to "tone down" the exhaust any. they remove certain pitches that really are quite annoying. they can lessen the drone. but they do not quiet it down by any means.
